The subscription audit: find what you are still paying for

Software, apps, memberships and services add up quietly. An hour once or twice a year usually finds money you did not know you were spending.

Subscriptions are easy to start and easy to forget. Businesses and households both end up paying for tools nobody uses, duplicate services and free trials that turned into charges.

Find every charge

Go through three months of bank and card statements and list every recurring charge, with how much and how often. Yearly charges are the easiest to miss, so look back twelve months for those.

Decide: keep, cancel or review

  • Keep what you use and would buy again today.
  • Cancel what you have not used in the last month or two.
  • Review what you use but might get cheaper: a lower plan, a yearly price or a bundle you already pay for.

Cancel properly

Cancel through the service itself, save the confirmation, and check the next statement to make sure the charge stopped.

Our subscription audit totals what you pay a year and what you save by cancelling.
