Corvane Ashmoor & Co. Litigation support from Ashmoor Casework.

It starts simply. Your office sends us the documents through a secure link, however large the file.

We log every page, Bates number the set and build an index by source and date.

Then we go through it page by page, building chronologies where every entry cites its page.

Everything comes back organized for your review. You decide what matters; we revise to your instructions.

As the case moves, we keep helping: deposition summaries, exhibits, records requests and trial notebooks.

All work is done at the direction of the supervising attorney. We never give legal advice.

Organized records, cited facts, and more time for the work only you can do. Start an inquiry at corvaneashmoor.com.

What we hear

I have 2,000 pages and a hearing in three weeks.

Large productions arrive late and the facts that matter are buried in them.

My paralegal is buried.

Staff time goes to sorting and summarizing instead of the work that needs a paralegal's judgment.

Where is that record?

Files spread across email, drives and paper make every deadline harder than it should be.

Exhibits always come together the night before.

Binders, numbering and indexes compete with trial preparation.

How the work runs

A steady rhythm, in writing.

The cadence most attorneys settle into with us. Every engagement sets its own in the written scope.

Common questions

Asked by attorneys.

All questions →

Will you work directly with my clients?

Our litigation support work is performed at the direction of the supervising attorney. We do not give legal advice to anyone.

How do you handle confidential records?

Engagement terms are in writing, records are shared only with counsel and parties counsel authorizes, and medical records are requested with proper authorizations.

Do you sign a confidentiality agreement?

Yes. Engagement terms, including confidentiality and handling of records, are in writing before any file is shared.

Can you handle rush work?

Often. Timelines depend on volume; we confirm what is achievable in writing before starting.

Who supervises the work?

The supervising attorney. Every work product is prepared at counsel's direction and delivered for counsel's review.

Do you check for conflicts before taking a matter?

Yes. Before any work begins we ask for the parties involved and confirm we have no conflict. If we do, we decline the matter.

What formats do you deliver in?

Usually Word and PDF, with bookmarks and Bates citations. Spreadsheets for indexes and logs. We match your firm's templates when you send them.

How fast can you turn around a chronology?

It depends on page count and condition of the records. The written scope gives a firm delivery date before you approve anything.

Can you work inside our case management system?

If you give us access, yes, under your firm's rules. Otherwise we deliver files for your staff to load.

How do you bill attorneys?

Hourly with itemized entries, or a fixed fee per deliverable, agreed in writing before work begins.

Who reviews the work?

The supervising attorney reviews every deliverable. We revise to counsel's instructions.
